tricia said she would nvr ever set foot in the theatre hall.
so i told her to watch from the roof.

ME :"eh. ltr while watching you see someone walking about around the stands"
TRICIA :" RUI LING!!!!!!! AHHHHH."
LOLS.
the freaked-outs went to sit on chairs at the esplanade halls.
tricia tries running away from the camera...

ahh. i look like some patient who just came out of hospital. pale!
anw, during the first part of the concert, there were this grp of fellow ahs-ians,
they were so freaking noisy lah!
no ettiquette at all.
such a disgrace!
i was so ashamed.
one audience even complained to the ushers about us.
noisy people and quiet people they bu fen qing hong zhao bai de ma.
so in the end, we got scolded also.
anw, after the intermission, 1/3 of the ahs people were gone.
1. its rude to leave during the intermission.
2. but, its good for the other audiences since they can now enjoy their music in silence. (:
YAY.
no more giggling and talking.
i LOVE LOVE LOVE Felix Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 5 in D Major; Op. 107 'Reformation'
<33333
the first movement is kind of 'serious' and the 2nd is happier. the 3rd is :DD with all the violins <3.>
you can actually see all the bows moving up and down in unison.
so very beautiful (:
loved every instrument. <3
ANDANDAND!
i used to learn violin from this 'master' whose my father's brother's good friend.
AND,
he was the assistant-leader of the first violins! :D
which is actually the instrument that plays most of the melody.
(:
so honoured.
even though i quited after one year.
-.-;;
=X
hahas!
when the peice ended {it was the last peice}
we the audience clapped like crazy. non-stop.
so the conducter, Mr Lan Shui bowed, walked out, walked in, bowed and so on 3, 4 times.
LOLs.
finally, we got an encore :D
hohoho.
they played a peice from the same composer. FELIX MENDLESSOHN. :D
ANYWAY, there were three different 'concerto/symphony" played on that day.
First piece : Richard Wagner's Parsifal: Good Friday Spell.
Second : Ludwig Van Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-flat major; Op. 73 'Emperor'
And lastly : Felix Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 5 in D Major; Op. 107 'Reformation'
all are very very nice. (:
i want to watch another concert!
the highlight of the concert was actually the solo by Dmitri Alexeev on the piano for BEETHOVEN's concerto.
VERYNICE playing.
he was signing autographs during the intermission.
i very badly wanted his autograph but badly needed to visit the toilet too.
so in the end, i didnt get his autograph. >.>
sadness.
by the time the concert ended it was about 9 plus.
mrt-ed home.
the vieww.

whose's falling asleep on the train?!
P.S there's one very very very spastic photo of us.
i shall not post it lest you die of laughter.
