HELLO BUNNIES(:

i am back to blog about the softball camp which took place between 21stNov and 23rd Nov(:

gathered up the stuff i need to pack on the 20th(night). [which is yalun's bday<3]
woke up at about 9 on the 21st.
used commie till about 11plus. started packing properly.
packing consisted of taking stuffs and dumping them to bags(:
really last minute packing actually :X
normally i pack wayyyyy before hand. but this time... ><
hehs.
rushed through packing.
offed commie.
went down and more last mintue packing.
waited for nicole's mummy to come.
reached school, met up with the girlies at the concourse(:
got grouped into joey's group.
Members include:
Me, Angeline, Nicole, Jeremy, William and PohZun.

luckily I was grouped with nicole and angeline(:
lalalala. after grouping, they realised emilyn's group had wayyyy to little people, so angeline was transferred over to their group. /:
was starving all through the briefing and introduction as we were told lunch would be served and didnt eat lunch.(and breakfast and dinner -.-)
bought stocks.
ohyah. currency is in the form of rubberbands.
we started off with 50rubberbands and we could buy "stocks" of reel companies. if you had good luck, the stocks you bought would rise in value and tada! you earn money. unlucky? stocks drop and you lose money.
bidding of 'items' that could help you in the station games/night games later on.
our group bought a bottlecap.
hah. turns out the 'use' of the bottlecap enables us to bribe station masters to release more clues to us.
yadadada. thats the only item we bought because Joey decided to trick other groups.
-compete with some group on the bidding.
-wait till bidding price is high and that the other teams bid for it.
-allow the other team to buy it at a very high price.
umm. okay.
so we only got a bottlecap.

and turns out lunch isnt provided and we were supposed to eat it at home. T__T
however, due to the vast number of veryveryhungry people who thought lunch would be provided, they(committee) made last minute lunch session. group leaders had to buy lunch for members.
had to pay 2dollars for the lunch.
lalalala.
ate lunch. went to bunk(2L classroom for girlies),unpacked.
STATION GAMES :D
hehs. there were a few disgusting stations which comprised of you sticking your hand into a bucket which is filled with dirty stuffs and stank like crazy. IT REALLLLYYY STINKS. one of the smelliest stenches i've ever smelt.
makes your stomach churn, really.
LUCKILY, me and nicole didnt have to do anything(:
the boys (comprising of group members jeremy, william, pohzun and group leader JOEY) did all the dirty work(:
HHEHHH. thats one very very good thing about being a girl, no dirty work, provided you have gentlemanly boys lah. which we had, very fortunately(:
another memorable station was the piggy back station.

person infront to piggyback the person behind and walk a distance.
i cant possibly carry any of the guys so i got piggybacked instead.

another one is the aeroplane station where you direct a blinded friend to the 'airport'. fun(:

allowed 'bath' time. didnt bathe.
why bathe before playing night games O.o?
night games wasnt really interesting.
not scary at all. -.-
more detective-ish.
didnt win the challenge, sam arrived.
sam was supposed to be in emilyn's group but she joined ours. hahh. lucky no one asked her to go back to emilyn's group.
NEW GROUP MEMBERS:
Joey, Jeremy, William, Poh Zun, me, Nicole and Samantha(:

went to bathe.
ordered macDs with the boys at 1.30, told that it would take 1hrhalf. Took a short nap.
macDs came at 3.
took 2 motorcycles to deliver. xD
bill turned out to be 140plusdollars i think.
fries were soggy T____T
eek. orders got mixed up, which was expected since sooo many people had sooo many different orders.
ate half my mcspicy but finished everything else.
went to sleep again(:

woke up at 7am.
two hours before the actual waking up time because the carolyn and regina(who didnt sleep at all) came and woke us up.
lazed through the twohours.
went to 85for bfast with group, yilin, angeline and grace.
ate prata. the person messed up me,yilin and sam's orders -.-
i got cheese prata instead of cheese onion and sam got cheese onion instead of cheese.
tsktsk. i was halfway through my prata when i realised -.-
and cheese prata sucked.
on the way back, i found a new species of insects named reilingamoefimofeenoufimoofeesheh, in short lingamofeesheh.
hehs.

had wet games and captian ball matches.

our group VS yilin's group.
and yilin's group has this sec4 named hanting who is SUPER TALL.
but eventually our group still won :D
why?
because jeremy, joey, william and pohzun are AWESOME.
they rock, really(:
jeremy's EXCELLENT AT DEFENDING.
he can jump damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn high. he can jump higher than the basketballers(:
joey was really pro too! he went crazy sometimes when he was cornered though. LOL. really funny xD
william and pohzun were great too :D
they can catch balls reallly well.
and our group's chemistry was great(:
so passing balls and everything were easy.

later we watched seniors play and rotted.
lalala.
played against zhiqing's group later.
had to use SOAP now instead of balls. ><
hehs. we totally thrashed their group xD
the boys in our team are really really really really good.
really.

played water games.
400plasticbags of water are SOOOOOOOO not enough.
we were supposed to pull of the bands tied around a member of an opposite group. the group that still had the band on at the end of the game wins.
the band was made of tissue paper anyway.
we were the 2nd last group with the band on. the last group's member who had the band went into hiding the whole time -.-
anw, after that, no one cared about who had the band left, we just went crazy throwing and wetting everyone. after running like crazy and having mud and water everywhere, i stood in the field and got drenched by having a bucket of water thrown onto me by the seniors. BAHHH.
started snatching for buckets(softball tradition) between girls and guys. guys win obviously, we're outnumbered and there were only 2buckets.
1 broken bucket at the end of the day.
had to clear all the plastic bags.
took group photo after that, soaked.

went to bathe.
so filthy. ><

had BBQ at church carpark.
stupid lousy charcoal in the disposable pit thingy.
the charcoals look like stones, round and curved. (CHARCOALS ARE SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE WOOD OKAY, wait, THEY ARE WOOD -.- )
and when we lighted the pits, the charcoals went on fire.
CHARCOALS ARE NOT FLAMABLE. MYGOSH.
i think those cheapskate charcoals are lousy/fake charcoals and they're coated with flamable stuffs which made them go on fire and with huge flames licking at us, and the smoke smelt really bad. normal charcoal dont have a weird horrid smell.
started bbq-ing chicken wings while the guys fanned at the flames.
most of the fanning was done by jeremy.
the outside of the wings were cooked but inside raw. took them away while the guys continued fanning.
after like 20plus minutes of fanning, the flames FINALLY SUBSIDED.
we started re-BBQ-ing the chicken wings and other stuffs..
ahem. Out of 4 chicken wings I ate, 3 were not properly cooked. -.-
the last chicken was cooked for eons before I ate it, ensuring its un-rawness(:
hmm. Joey disappeared. Jeremy didn’t eat much. William was cooking. Pohzun doing odd jobs for the group. I did some cooking too. Girls were responsible for bringing food to the pit.
Had to find people to be guinea pigs to test food out.
It was so darn dark you really cant tell if the food is cooked or not, but I took extra precaution with the food I ate, spat out all uncooked food.
We cleared the pits after bbq-ing and gathered to perform the skits/programmes we had prepared for the sec4 seniors.
-each group to represent one senior-
We were allotted soonhui and only decided what we were going to perform just before the bbq. –food eating competition- because soonhui loves eating.
We were actually the 3rd group to perform but because zhiq’s group (who was to perform 2nd) had problems, we went on 2nd.
I was the role of spectator (YAY), supposed to cheer and everything.
So I just sat around and laughed my way through our skit. xD it was so funny(:
Leona’s group was representing HanTing. (poem)
ShiXuan’s group representing YiQian (they sang yiqiannianyihou, LOL)
Celeste’s group representing Tze Deng (football commercial which was quite cute xD)
And lastly, zhiq’s group representing VICTOR, our captian for sec4.
Sadly to say( NO OFFENCE REALLY ) I think their skit was rather insultive towards victor. /:
They had cut parts of their skit last minute after realizing they shouldn’t have done such a skit that made fun of victor and everything.
But the damage was done. I think victor was shocked and disappointed, he didn’t expect something like their skit. /:
And the sec4s and JC seniors comforted him by telling him “they don’t understand you.”
I really don’t understand how their skit had anything to do with victor really. -.-
Victor gave me the impression of a really nice and friendly guy, and honestly, one the nicest looking guys in softball. I don’t know how he became a jaychou wannabe who’s ugly and everything. Uhh?
NO OFFENCE. These are just my personal thoughts and feelings about the skit.
The atmostphere was somewhat awkward then.
After a few speeches and everything, we sat around and went back to bunk.
I changed clothes, washed face and went back to church to re BBQ.
YAY. They built a fire using PROPER charcoal. Fire built by our current captian hexian(:
A really really nice fire that cooked really well(:
Cooked chicken wings and all the leftovers on it.
Roasted marshmellows.
Ate manymanywings.
AND SCALDED MY THE TOP OF MY MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D:
[the skin peeled off and it hurts like crazy now,
damn pain~! really ): ]
Even the juniors said I was eating like crazy. xD
Shared a baked potato with YiLin.
Baked potatoes are YUMMY<3
Sat around.
Went to sleep at 2plus.

Woke up next day to clear up classroom and camp ended.
If you ask me if I want to attend this camp again if given the chance, I definitely would(:

SOFTBALL CAMP 2007.
- I realized Joey was quite a nice person actually. I’m sorry for misunderstanding you, though you were SOOOO EVIL TO BREAK MY WATER BAG LAST YEAR! Hmphf.
- Jeremy has became a happier person(: I actually saw him smile quite a lot during camp. And he actually talks now. Last year, he would never talk to you willingly. For example, while playing captian’s ball, he will call you to pass the ball to him, if it was last year, he wouldn’t.
- William and pohzun are really nice people too(: I enjoyed being in a team with them(:
- I ENJOYED MYSELF IN GROUP SK, made up of Joey, Jeremy, William, PohZun, Me, Nicole and Sam(: btw, SK stands for ShangKun. LOL.
- Though we didn’t win, all that matters is the experience, the stuffs you learn.
- There was a really hilarious company in the stocks, PSITT –Pang Sai In The Toilet. LOLS. Its so funny xD
- We really got to know each other better. Now I’m better friends with Joey, Jeremy, pohzun and William. Camps really bond people. I’m not saying we’re super bonded okay -.- because we’re not sooo bonded, its just that we’ve gotten to know and understand each other better, and that’s the whole point. Like, Poh Zun was a total stranger to me, but at least we can be now considered acquaintances or even friends? HAHAHAHs. I don’t know.
- Also got to know a few more seniors better, like khengsoon and hanting. They are both realllllllllyyyyyyyyyyy nice people(:
- Didn’t really bond with the I/Cs though. /: ohwells.
- our group didnt really take this camp point system like a competition, because its a bonding camp. NOT A COMPETITION. and i realised some groups are rather selfish and overcompetitive it spoils the mood. ohwells.

Even though I kept moaning about missing my commie during camp,
I really enjoyed myself(:
I’m really happy to be in group SK(: I would never exchange anyone in our group for anyone else!(:
-sam, nicole, remember our “SK” triangle cheer? Ahhahahas!<3 its gay but fun(: -
